Morning Tour

• Tour Time: 11:00 AM – 12:30 PM
• Meeting Time: 10:40 AM
• Meeting Place: Randen Shijo-Omiya Station (in front of the ticket gate)
  Please do not confuse this with Hankyu Omiya Station.

Afternoon Tour

• Tour Time: 2:20 PM – 3:50 PM
• Meeting Time: 2:00 PM
• Meeting Place: Same as above

Tour Highlights

• Depart from Randen Shijo-Omiya Station and begin your Sake Tasting Challenge!
• Taste and compare 5 different types of Japanese sake, and try to guess which brand you drank first.
• Learn about sake from Mr. Kyoto Sake Café 138, who will guide you through the flavors, colors, and aromas.
• After arriving at Arashiyama Station, enjoy a warm serving of oden (daikon) while continuing your tasting.
• If you guess correctly… celebrate your victory! 🎉

• Adults (20 years and older): ¥6,980 per person

Included in the Tour

• One-way train fare from Randen Shijo-Omiya Station to Arashiyama
• Japanese sake (equivalent to 2 go per person)
• A snack set selected by the JTB tour coordinator
• One serving of Kyoto craft beer

• Group Size: Max 30 participants per tour
• Minimum Participants: 22
• Staff: 1 paid staff member
• Meals: Not included (no breakfast/lunch/dinner)
• Train Line: Keifuku Electric Railroad (Randen)

How to Apply

• Application Deadline: Until 11:59 PM, 5 days before each tour date
• Cancellation Notice: If canceled, you will be notified by email at least 11 days in advance
• Payment Method: Credit card only

Cancellation Policy

• Up to 11 days before: Free
• 10–8 days before: 20%
• 7–2 days before: 30%
• 1 day before: 40%
• Same day: 50%
• No-show or cancellation after tour starts: 100%

Important Notes

• Drinks like tea in PET bottles are allowed.
  Food and alcoholic beverages are not permitted.

• There is no restroom on the train. Please use the station restroom at Arashiyama.

• Return fare is not included. Please purchase your own ticket for the return trip.

• Sake brands may vary depending on the day.

• Seats cannot be reserved. Staff will guide you on the day.

• Tour schedule and content may change or be canceled due to brewery or train operation conditions.

• Participants must be 20 years or older.
  Please bring a valid ID for age verification.

• We do not accommodate allergies. Please consider this before applying.

• If you and your companion book separately, you may not be seated together.
  Please apply as a group if you wish to sit nearby.

• Seating may be split depending on the number of participants.
