A sukiya-made Japanese restaurant that blends into the beautiful scenery of Arashiyama/Nakanoshima Park. Conger eel(Hamo), a summer tradition in Kyoto, is an essential ingredient for the Gion Festival*. We have prepared dishes that focus on precious ingredients delivered from the sea and “conger eel(Hamo),” which has high vitality. In this plan, you can watch the bone-cutting of conger eel(Hamo) by the young master right in front of you.
※Since the season for conger eel(Hamo) is just around the Gion Festival at the end of the rainy season, the Gion Festival is also called the Hamo Festival by another name in Kyoto. Japanese conger eel(Hamo) served in a cool bowl and peony conger(Hamo) in a bowl are a summer tradition in Kyoto.
