Located in the heart of Kyoto, Sasaki Sake Brewery continues the time-honored craft of sake brewing using traditional hand-made techniques passed down through generations. Built on the historic grounds once favored by Toyotomi Hideyoshi, this brewery embodies the rich legacy of the ancient capital.
This special plan offers a rare opportunity to step inside a normally closed-to-the-public brewery. You’ll hear stories about sake brewing in Kyoto’s historic Rakuchu area, explore the brewery itself, and enjoy a guided tasting of carefully selected sake.
Note: Sake production is not active during the tour period.

Precautions
・This tour will operate only if at least 4 participants have signed up.
If the tour is canceled, we will notify you 5 days prior to the scheduled date.
・Please avoid eating natto (fermented soybeans) the day before the tour, as it may interfere with the sake tasting experience.
・Wear comfortable clothing and footwear suitable for walking.
The brewery contains steep stairs and uneven surfaces.・Do not wear clothing made from fluffy or fibrous materials, as they may affect the brewing environment.
・To fully enjoy the aroma of the sake, please avoid wearing perfume, strongly scented fabric softeners, or hair products.
・This tour is conducted in Japanese only.
