The Yamahoko float Procession is decorated with beautiful hangings and is also known as a “moving museum.”

Together with the Preservation Society and everyone in the community, we will pull Minami Kannon Yama and parade through the town of Kyoto in summer.

The “Tsuji Mawashi” at the intersection is a valuable experience that can only be experienced here.

“Minami Kannon Yama”
Minami Kannon is also known as “Kudari Kannon Yama,” and the principal image is Yoryu Kannon, which relieves people from the suffering of illness, and Zenzai Doji is enshrined as a side samurai. They are extravagantly decorated, and they face the parade with the iconic willow branches hanging down.

■Footwear will be provided, please enter your foot size when making a reservation.
■Bento boxes will be prepared after the parade.
■The Yamaboko Parade will be held in the rain.
■There is a possibility that you will not be able to participate in the towing experience due to sudden local circumstances, in which case we will refund your money.
■Please note that the opening time may change on the day.
■Please follow the staff's instructions while participating in the experience.
■The heat is severe, so please be careful when managing your physical condition, such as staying hydrated.
