Known for its fall foliage, Takao is a scenic spot where you can enjoy the natural beauty of each season, and Takao area in whichi Momiji-ya locates is 3~5 degree cooler than the center of Kyoto city in summer.
If you cross the dedicated suspension bridge, there is a riverbed made by overhanging the clear stream of the Kiyotaki River, and you can enjoy riverbed cuisine surrounded by the murmuring sound.
Also, (Ayu)sweetfish grilled over charcoal in front of the floor are exceptional.
