This plan offers a program that condenses the essence of Kodo Mishina Ooe-ryu. The venue is a special counter at "Jikido ICHIFUNE," owned by Kousei-in temple in Kyoto, which has been mostly closed to the public until now.
The large, open windows of the special counter offer a view of the Kyoto City designated scenic garden, usually closed to the public, created by Kanetsune Ijūin, a genius of garden design, and Jihei Ogawa, a pioneer of modern Japanese gardens. It's truly a healing space.

2. Guided tour of the Kyoto City designated scenic garden (about 15 minutes)
3. Flower arrangement experience (about 15 minutes)
4. Genji-ko incense ceremony experience based on The Tale of Genji (about 90 minutes)
You will create your own incense burner.
After creating the incense burner, you will enjoy a game of distinguishing scents from "agarwood," a special fragrant wood.
5. Matcha tea experience (about 15 minutes) After the incense ceremony, take a moment to relax with self-prepared matcha and seasonal sweets.
6. Free time to view the garden (about 15 minutes)
