The "Mibunamasai" festival will be held on April 12 (Sat) and April 13 (Sun) at Mibu-dera Temple, a sacred place for the Shinsengumi! As part of this festival, we will conduct the "Sake and Sword" tour, themed around Japanese sake and swords. *Guidance will be provided in Japanese.【Details of the Sake and Sword Tour】

"Izumi-no-kami Kanesada": Made by the 11th generation Kanesada (same swordsmith as Hijikata Toshizo's favorite sword)
"Ōshū Aizu-jū Kanesada": Substitute work and signature by the 11th generation Kanesada on behalf of his father
▶Japanese Sake Tasting
Sake from three proud regions of Kyoto (Chūkyō, Fushimi, Tango)
▶Mibu-dera Temple History Tour
Learn about the history of Mibu-dera Temple, a place closely associated with the Shinsengumi
▶All participants will receive a gift of Kyoto sake (300ml)! *You cannot choose the brand from Chūkyō, Fushimi, or Tango.【Other Information】
Enjoy the simultaneously held Mibunamasai festival featuring famous Kyoto stores!
▶Mibunamasai Thanksgiving ceremony for the harvest of Mibuna, a Kyoto vegetable: A ceremony will be held at the main hall of Mibu-dera Temple, offering Mibuna. Distribution and sale of Mibuna Promoting Kyoto's food culture: Through the annual ceremony, we promote the food of Kyoto, starting from the Mibu area, the birthplace of Mibuna.
※This event is inspired by the geographical elements of Mibu being a wetland with underground water flowing continuously, and historical and cultural elements such as Mibu Kyōgen, Mibuna, and the Shinsengumi.

●Time／10:00-11:00 (1st session), 11:30-12:30 (2nd session), 13:30-14:30 (3rd session), 15:00-16:00 (4th session)
●Fee／5,110 yen per person (The price is set to commemorate the date said to be the anniversary of Hijikata Toshizo's death.)

※Please gather at the side of the main hall within the Mibuna Festival venue 5 minutes before the start time.
